TSN delivers 12 forensic field units to the Nuevo León Attorney General’s Office

The Nuevo León State Attorney General’s Office, through the Institute of Criminalistics and Forensic Services, received 12 new forensic field units equipped by TSN to strengthen operational work and immediate response in scientific investigations.

These units were developed to perform in demanding scenarios and hard-to-reach terrain. Each double-cab pickup includes 4x4 drive, tubular bumpers, and a 12,000-pound winch, a configuration designed to support forensic personnel during field interventions.

As part of the conversion, the trucks were fitted with structural aluminum components for emergency vehicles, a solution that reduces weight while increasing durability and resistance for intensive use.

In addition, each unit is equipped with 110-volt power inverters to operate electrical equipment on site, as well as ladders, tool racks, removable drawers, a retractable awning, and police lighting. This equipment expands the operational capability of personnel during extended field assignments.

Technology for search, location, and georeferenced operations

The vehicles also integrate GPS systems, 360-degree surround-view cameras, and radio frequency equipment, strengthening the georeferenced location, search, and tracking capabilities that Institute personnel can deploy from each unit.
